Saba

Saba

Situated in the northeastern Caribbean, Saba is a small island, rich in natural beauty. From its dense rainforest to the breathtaking rocky outcrops, Saba has everything to make travelling there a jaw-dropping experience filled with natural wonder.

Travel to the island, either by air or by sea, is easy. 5 flights a day service the Juancho E. Yrausquin airport from the nearby island of St Maarten, through which all forms of travel are directed. Several major airlines from Europe, North and South America offer daily flights to St Maarten.

Upon arrival, you will find a population of around 1,200 warm and inviting people, spread between four small villages. Day or night there are people at the varied selection of restaurants and bars willing to strike up conversation. Nothing says this more than the island-wide parties that take place every weekend. Consisting of disco music, steel bands and barbecues - everyone is invited.

Travel around the island is easy, either by the many marked nature trails and hikes or by car. Rental services are available and booking is easy.

As well as the hiking, the island also offers the visitor opportunities for some magnificent diving experiences in the Caribbean Sea. The Saba Marine Park offers diving at any depth, including snorkeling, to explore Saba’s awe-inspiring underwater landscapes.
